Greece finished on 9th place
Two days after giant 14 goals victory, Greece once again faced Finland on the court. This time roles slightly changed and Khalkidis boys were no longer in charge.
Finland controlled the result. They had 15:10 at half taime, and after 45 minutes had a tiny but still comfortable lead. Greeks pushed strong in last 20 minutes. Equalized in the 46th minute (18:18) and in the next attack take the lead (19:18).
Finland once again came from being a goal behind but It was goalkeeper Papadopulos who decided the winner. First he saved shot, than scored on empty net for 24:23 lead, and once again saved in the next attack that additionally lead to 25:23 two minutes before final buzzer.
Final result is 26:23 (10:15)

Georgios Khalkidis: “It was hard to find motivation today but we must learn to win on every match. On this tournament we lose three times and won three times. We came back from five goals behind and It’s was very important for us to learn how to deal with those situations.
